Due to the forecast of extreme inclement weather conditions and out of an abundance of caution, Groom ISD will be closed on Friday, January 23rd in order to ensure the safety of our staff, students, and families. 🎄 GISD Holiday Meal – Wednesday, December 17th 🎄

Our holiday meal will be Wednesday, Dec. 17th from 11:24 AM–12:28 PM, and we are so excited to share this special time with our Groom ISD families!

To help improve the flow and make the experience even better, we’ve made a few changes this year:

🍽 Families will pick up their children from the classroom and eat together as a family.
This helps us keep lines moving smoothly and ensures everyone gets to enjoy their meal time together.

Groom ISD will have a delayed start time of 10:00 this morning due to icy road conditions. Busses will run 2 hours later than normal. Stay safe and warm!

As we move into the winter season, we want to ensure all Groom ISD families are informed about how we will communicate any changes to the school day due to inclement weather. Our administrators will be out early each morning to assess road conditions and make the best decision for our staff and students. Weather-related announcements will be shared through text messages to guardians and staff, our district website, social media platforms, and local media outlets.
