GAME UPDATE Thursday’s Varsity football game has been CANCELLED due to injuries. Thank you for your understanding and continued support of our Tigers!

Picture day is Wednesday, September 30th. Order forms went home last week. We will be taking fall portraits for grades PK-11, JH/HS Cheer, Football and Cross Country. Seniors will also take their senior formals. Please be sure to send an order form and money if you wish to order pictures. ** Seniors do not need to order pictures right now, those will be available to order at a later date. Contact school if you need more info.

Homecoming tonight!!

Parent Reminders Now that the first six weeks are complete, we ask that all parents and visitors check in at the front office and receive a visitor’s pass before entering the building. This includes during morning drop-off and afternoon pick-up. Parental Consent Forms were sent home this week. Please sign and return them by Monday. Thank you!

IT’S HERE!!!! The 2026–2027 school year starts TOMORROW morning at Groom ISD! ❤️🖤 School begins at 7:50 AM! Elementary students will come into the school and report to the lunchroom. Junior High & High School students will report to the auditorium to receive their schedules. We are SO excited to welcome our Tigers back and kick off an amazing new school year! Get those backpacks ready, set those alarms, and we’ll see you TOMORROW MORNING! Let’s make it a great year, Tigers! 🐾

Make plans to join our athletes, families, and coaches this Friday at 6:00 PM at the Groom City Park for our summer athletic cookout!

This is a great opportunity for families and athletes in 7th–12th grade to get to know our coaching staff and hear about their expectations, goals, and vision for the 2026-2027 school year.

Building a successful program takes everyone working together, and we are excited to begin that journey with our athletes and their families.

Come enjoy a meal, meet the coaches, and learn more about what lies ahead for Groom Athletics!

📣 Attention Groom ISD Athletes & Parents! 📣

Due to many athletes' summer work schedules, we will be moving all summer workouts to 7:30 AM daily.

We hope to see all boys and girls entering 7th–12th grade at workouts each morning. Building a successful athletic program takes commitment, consistency, and hard work. The effort you put in during the summer makes a difference in every sport and helps prepare you for a successful season.

Championships are built in the offseason. Make plans now to be there, work hard, and get better each day. We can't wait to see everyone at 7:30 AM!

Lifeguard Certification Classes

Groom ISD will be hosting lifeguard classes June 5th–6th at the Groom ISD Pool.

Students must be at least 15 years old to participate. This is a blended online/in-person course, and the online portion must be completed before attending the in-person portion.

Certification is valid for two years.

We must have at least 5 participants for the instructor to travel to Groom.

UPDATE— The Music Program has been changed to Tuesday, May 12th at 5:30 PM. The dinner has also been canceled.

We are sorry for any inconvenience, but the end of the year is incredibly busy! Thank you for your understanding, and we hope to see everyone there! 🎶

The Elementary Music Program has been rescheduled to Tuesday, May 12th at 6:30 PM.

We will also have an EARLY RELEASE on Thursday, May 14th at 11:30 AM to allow time for travel to the State Track Meet.
